Resin adaptation of a photograph taken by the artist in the Caribbean. 

First, the original Photograph is printed on canvas, treated, then paint is sculpted in 3 dimensional forms or used to accent the body of the painting itself. Once the paint & sculpting is deemed complete and has had adequate time to dry, layers of resin are applied, transforming and preserving the sculpted layers beneath. While listed as a 'Limited Edition' item, each of these sculptures is unique and will never be an exact duplicate of any other. In addition, the artist limits the total # that will ever be produced from any one photograph, ensuring the future value of your investment. Expect when ordering that this piece may require production time, but that this may allow for elements of customization to your request. In this particular piece, sculpting paint was foregone to instead accent the rainbow hues bouncing off the jewel-like water as the sun rose. Textured sand and crushed shells, complete with a permanent wet-sand shoreline, line the bottom edge of this painting. Note that such sculptures are lighter than most traditional resin work available today as they are not mounted on wood or metal boards but overlaid on wrapped canvas. 

Each piece can be prepared for hanging to your preference, by wire or cleat system, please specify your preference when ordering unless of course you wish to mount and hang it yourself upon arrival.
